I am planning to do BNB to study each block during M2 and wondering if I should supplement with physeo Physeo explains topics better, especially if you thrive off of diagrams and drawings. The multiple choice test is complemented by the subjective Step 2 CS exam. 5x works very well so it's technically less than 14 hours. I'd suggest definitely do Sketchy for micro and pharm. Physeo, Sketchy micro/pharm, a touch of B&B here and there for subjects I needed further help with, and Pathoma. We should do a tier list of resources ( bnb pathoma , physeo , osmosis , amboss, sketchy , pixorize etc) Physeo has funnier and darker sketches but Sketchy has great practice questions and more to their product for micro and pharm. But physeo has pharm review prior to each sketch which is extremely helpful. Didn't really use physeo for anything. Sketchy path is not very popular as far as I can tell. The subscription for 1 year is also $150 and you are basically getting the same material,give or take, as buying B&B and Sketchy. much easier than sketchy imo - the sketchy videos were too dense and the symbols for pharm never really made sense to me (like all the fighter jets for penicillin binding proteins and beta lactamases idk lol). Physeo is a great resource because they have made most of their videos free. pixorize had more videos because each drug is split up into a single video rather than grouped by class. Didn't really use it all that much but it can be I’ve been doing physeo biochem and recently finished the genetic part, in a conversation with another person I learnt that pixorize has biochem too, so I checked it out and I found that there is so much more video, only the memorizing video itself took 22hr run time, physeo including memory and concept teaching only cost 10hr run time. That said there will be things left out for the sake of maximizing the logical, easy to follow delivery of content. But after watching physeo, I believe those guys heavily researched previous content like first aid, BnB, pathoma, and sketchy. It wont necessarily be enough for class, but to get the feel for some material, I think it's great. Pixorize also splits up thiamine, niacin, B9, B12, and others over two videos whereas Physeo covers all of the info in one video, making the images easier to remember. definitely pixorize for biochem/pharm (but since you used sketchy pharm I wouldn't switch now) physeo is amazing as an all-in-one resource; it also has some biochem topics not covered by pixorize (also ranked a top-rated resource in FA) - it's way better than B&B imo. All I got from my research is that physeo is similar to sketchy while BnB is similar to PowerPoint and uni lecture style but which is more in-depth? High yield? Pixorize doesn't seem to be as thorough as Physeo's image mnemonics (when compared to FA 2019 pixorize leaves out info but Physeo does not).
